What is OTR?
The One Time Registration (OTR) is mandatory for all UPPSC applicants. You cannot submit the application form without an OTR Number.
- Registration: Visit otr.pariksha.nic.in to register.
- Timing: Generate your OTR number at least 72 hours before you intend to apply.
- Syncing: If you updated your OTR profile recently, click on "Sync OTR Data" on the recruitment dashboard before applying.
Step-by-Step Application Process
- Authenticate: Go to uppsc.up.nic.in, click "Apply Online", and authenticate using your OTR Number. Verify your personal details (Name, Father's Name, etc.) fetched from the OTR database.
- Fill Qualifications: Enter the specific educational qualifications required for the post you are selecting. Select 'Yes' for preferential qualifications (like NCC 'B') if applicable.
- Fee Payment: Pay the application fee via Net Banking, Debit/Credit Card, or UPI.
General/OBC/EWS: ₹ 105 | SC/ST: ₹ 65 | PH: ₹ 25 - Final Submission: After payment, click "Submit" to generate the final application form. Print this form immediately.
- Send Hard Copy: Place the printed application form + self-attested copies of all mark sheets/certificates + caste certificates in an envelope. Paste the Address Slip (generated with the form) on the envelope and send it via Speed Post/Registered Post to the Commission by 05.01.2026.
New Selection Criteria (2025-26)
As per the new regulations (Oct 2025), the selection for these posts involves two stages:
