OSSC CGL Eligibility Criteria 2025
1. Age Limit (As on 01.01.2025)
- Minimum Age: 21 Years
- Maximum Age: 38 Years (Notification specifies max age for this year is 42 Years due to previous delays/adjustments).
- Relaxation: 5 Years for SC/ST/SEBC/Women; 10 Years for PwD.
2. Educational Qualification
- Degree: Must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University.
- Computer Skills: Proficiency in Computer usage (Internet, Email, Word Processing, Data Analysis) is mandatory.
- Auditor Posts: Some specific auditor posts may require PGDCA or equivalent (Refer to detailed notification).
3. Language Proficiency
Candidate must be able to read, write, and speak Odia. Must have passed Middle School/HSC with Odia as a language subject.

Selection Process & Exam Pattern
The OSSC CGL Recruitment 2025 involves three stages:
Stage I: Preliminary Examination (150 Marks)
- Mode: OMR or CBRE (Computer Based).
- Duration: 150 Minutes.
- Subjects: Arithmetic, DI, Reasoning, Current Events, Computer Awareness.
- Negative Marking: 0.25 marks deducted for wrong answers.
- Qualifying: Approx 5 times the vacancies will be called for Mains.
Stage II: Main Written Examination (200 Marks)
- Paper I (Language): Odia & English (100 Marks).
- Paper II (General Studies): GS, Polity, Economy, History, etc. (100 Marks).
Stage III: Certificate Verification
